Our Film Treatment.

From the beginning, we as a group decided to put our film out as a 15 certificate. We wanted to aim it at a wider age range as possible, we felt that the content within suited a 15 and no younger. The concept of the film meant there wasn't a need for an 18 certificate because the people in the plot aren't able to swear, have sex etc. We haven't got any visible gory violence so the certificate is viable. We originally thought along the lines of a political thriller, it quickly became apparent that this was too ambitious as a genre because of our limited resources. It would also be hard to keep the interest over a 2 minute period using this genre. Then our idea progressed from that to a film which mostly focuses on religious aspects in a political context.
